The conference will focus on emerging cross disciplinary knowledge about reward systems and emotional regulation in the domains of cognitive science, brain imaging, neurophysiology and genetics, and how this knowledge could inform alcohol treatment research. A broad set of themes will be presented regarding how scientists from basic and clinical disciplines can move across scale to inform each other's work as well as the challenges scientists and funding agencies face in mounting multi-disciplinary collaborations.
